1. About GoSafar India
GoSafar India is a premium travel company offering curated bus, cab, and package tours across India—including Char Dham, hill stations, religious circuits, and leisure destinations. We act as an organiser and booking platform coordinating transport, accommodation, meals (as per package), and sightseeing where included.
2. Eligibility & Account
- You must be at least 18 years old to register and book on our platform.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- All information provided during registration and booking must be accurate and complete.
- GoSafar India reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.
3. Bookings & Availability
- All bookings are subject to seat/room availability at the time of payment confirmation.
- A booking is confirmed only after successful payment and receipt of a booking confirmation (email and/or dashboard notification).
- Prices displayed on the website are in Indian Rupees (INR) and may include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- GoSafar India reserves the right to decline or cancel a booking in case of pricing errors, unavailability, or suspected fraudulent activity—with a full refund of any amount charged.
- Trip-specific inclusions, exclusions, itinerary, food plan (e.g. vegetarian meals), and reporting time are as described on each trip page.
4. Payments
- Payments are accepted online via Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking, and other supported methods).
- Partial payments or instalments may be offered on select packages; remaining balance must be paid by the deadline communicated at booking.
- Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in automatic cancellation without refund of any advance paid, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- You are responsible for any bank charges, currency conversion fees, or payment gateway declines on your side.
5. Traveller Responsibilities
- All travellers must carry valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, passport, voter ID, or driving licence) as required.
- Travellers must arrive at the designated boarding point on time. GoSafar India is not liable for missed departures due to late arrival.
- You are responsible for your personal belongings throughout the journey.
- Travellers must follow instructions of the tour manager, driver, and local authorities, especially in sensitive or high-altitude areas.
- Consumption of alcohol, smoking, or behaviour that endangers others may result in removal from the trip without refund.
6. Itinerary Changes & Force Majeure
Travel plans may be altered due to weather, road closures, landslides, government restrictions, natural disasters, strikes, or other events beyond our control. In such cases, GoSafar India will make reasonable efforts to provide alternate arrangements. We are not liable for losses arising from circumstances outside our control, though we will act in good faith to minimise disruption.
Minor changes to hotels, routes, or sightseeing order of the same standard may be made without prior notice when operationally necessary.
7. Cancellation by Customer
Cancellation terms vary by trip. The standard policy and any trip-specific overrides are listed on the package page and in our Refund Policy. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or through your account dashboard.
8. Cancellation by GoSafar India
We may cancel a departure due to insufficient bookings, safety concerns, or force majeure events. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule to another available date, at your choice.
9. Liability
- GoSafar India acts as a coordinator. Third-party services (hotels, restaurants, local operators) are responsible for their own service standards.
- We are not liable for injury, loss, theft, illness, or death occurring during travel, except where directly caused by our proven negligence.
- Adventure, trekking, and high-altitude travel carry inherent risks. Travellers with medical conditions should consult a doctor before booking.
- Our maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the affected booking.
10. Reviews & User Content
By submitting reviews, photos, or feedback, you grant GoSafar India a non-exclusive right to use, display, and publish such content for marketing and service improvement. Content must be honest, lawful, and not defamatory.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on gosafarindia.com—including logos, text, images, and package descriptions—is owned by GoSafar India or its licensors. Unauthorised copying, scraping, or commercial use is prohibited.
12. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve concerns amicably.
13. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page. Bookings made after the update are subject to the revised Terms.
